The Matariki Festival is a celebration of New Zealand and the Maori new year. Traditionally the Matariki Festival is a time to celebrate with friends, family and strangers as you look back and share the memories of your ancestors and loved ones.
​
For my overall design I chose to use colours such as red, black and white; this is because these colours play a huge role in the Maori Culture. It can be seen in art, dresses and it is used in the Maori flag.

For our interactive assignment we had to create a website for a local attraction. As you can see by the title I chose Rosedale Park. I wanted to bring a minimal approach to the design of the website. Using san serif fonts for the titles, logo and paragraphs in white helped add to that minimal approach. In creating this website I wanted to target families that were looking to spend a day out the park to play at the park or take their dog for a walk.

Here I created a website and designed business cards/stickers for a Fire Protection company called Unique Design Solutions LTD (UDSL). This was one of the tougher projects I have had to do but I really enjoyed the process and seeing everything come together. In creating these forms of advertisement the main goal was to get Wayne (company owner) more clients and to help regular clients understand more about the company that Unique Design Solutions is.
SUNSET
CINEMA.

This was a group project in which we had to create an app for an Auckland Council run event, that event being Sunset Cinema. Vansh, Sacha and I had a blast creating this prototype. The app essentially lets the user have a personalized user experience by picking what movie genres they like. The basis of the app however is too make sure the council can keep track of how much people are attending the event.
